Are you planning a family or barkada trip this summer?
Why don't you try to explore Hundred Islands?
The Hundred Islands National Park is a national park in the Philippines. These area is located in the city of Alaminos, in the province of Pangasinan in northern Philippines. The islands, totaling 124 at low tide and 123 at high tide, are scattered in Lingayen Gulf covering an area of 16.76 square kilometres (6.47 sq mi). Only three of them have been developed for tourism: Governor Island, Quezon Island, and Children's Island. The Lucap wharf in Alaminos, the entrance to the National Park, is about 240 kilometres (150 mi) north of Manila, the capital of the Philippines. -Source Wikipedia
Governor's Island

Enjoying the beauty of Virgin Island

Virgin Island was not crowded unlike the other islands, it explains itself why this island called a Virgin Island isn't it? Governor's Island is the only passage of Virgin Island. Try to explore Governor's Island til the end and it is all worth it!

Quezon Island

Quezon Island is our third itinerary. I think this is the only island that you can cook, grill and eat lunch comfortably, that's the reason why it was so crowded.

Snorkeling near at Quezon Island

Cuenco Island
Enjoy the small tunnel here and see the diving spot at the end point. There’s even some dining tables and a small bar perhaps?

Mayor's Island
This is one of my favorite islands. The water is so clear and the sand is so fine and white.

How to get in Pangasinan?
Travel time from Manila to Pangasinan is about 3 h 38 min (210.6 km) via R-8 and N Luzon W Expy/R-8 with your own car or you could take a bus Cubao Victory Liner, fare is around 400-500 pesos for an-airconditioned bus. Alaminos City is the gateway to the Hundred Islands National Park.

Upon arrival in Alaminos City, take a tricycle and ask the driver to bring you in Lucap Wharf in Brgy Lucap. In Lucap Wharp, go to the tourism office to rent a boat for your island hopping adventure. You can choose a big boat if you are with your family or with friends or a small boat.
Where to eat?
We eat breakfast in Maxine Resto. They have a nice restaurant with free wi-fi, secured parking lot, affordable rooms and nice location by the sea. Please let me know in the comments section if you have a particular hotel you want to recommend.

Where to Sleep?
We arrived at 4pm in Alaminos, the first thing we do in pangasinan is to secure our sleeping place.

We checked-in at Vista de las Islas Alaminos Pangasinan, we chosed this hotel because for some reasons:
Advantage of this hotel
1. The first reason, because it was recommended by Drew Arellano the host of GMA 7 "Byahe ni Drew" and I was quite fan.
2. The hotel will provide you a boat and it cost us 1,500 from 8am - 4pm.
3. They have a cab to fetch you in the hotel going to the boat (at Lucap Wharf).
4. They have swimming pool.
5. They're are near in wharf, sari-sari store, souvenirs shop. At the Lucap wharf is where all the souvenir items you must see. There are no souvenir shops in the islands itself though.
Hotel Disadvantage:
1. Their canteen is not good.
2. The room smell is not good.
3. The bathroom is also not good.
Tips:
• Eat breakfast before your Island hopping • Register at the Tourism Office
•There are sari-sari stores in the islands but be sure to buy your snacks, ingredients and other stuff before you ride your boat in Lucap Wharf because the prices in the islands are very expensive. •If you’re buying snacks and water, please also bring some for your boatman. •Lifevest are provided during the island hopping tour. •Cold Snacks in the islands •Overnight stay at Pinoy Big Brother house in Governor’s Island is 10,000 Pesos •Quezon Island, Governor’s Island and Children’s Island 200 Pesos Day Tour Table 300 Pesos Overnight Table 200 Pesos Day Tour Tent Pitching Fee 300 Pesos Overnight Tent Pitching Fee – Setting up of tents in the sand portion of the developed islands from 6AM to 5PM is strictly prohibited. – Staying overnight at the undeveloped islands is also strictly prohibited. •Island Comfort Rooms costs 5 Pesos per use •You can take a shower after the boat tour at Lucap Wharf.
